The President of the War on Terror said, "Someone must have slandered Josef K., for one morning, without having done anything truly wrong, he was arrested."
It is true that Herr President said that as an example of the sort of thing one might say when discussing arrests...in other words, when someone's arrested, they are suspicted. However, the documents which document...in other words, the sort of things that documents have...y'see, documentation is priveledged. And we can't just go around inspekting them, because that means they're less privatized then.

You're right. Poor Josef K. is doomed. Not even the Freedom of Information Act can save him now.
