At least someone's still talking about Katrina. It seems like the federal government has forgotten about New Orleans, and/or hasn't learned from Katrina. And how else do you propose stopping the violence in the city of New Orleans? We need to quit pointing fingers and playing the blame game and start finding solutions. I also don't believe Mr. Beck was talking about being the middleman, even if it seems thats what he was saying (and I watch both shows that night)... point is, criminals are less likely to commit crimes in concealed carry cities/states because they too do not wish to be shot. Lets start by getting rid of the corruption in NOPD, cleaning up the areas still in shambles, and making it more affordable to live there. But most importantly, the flood-prevention measures need to be BETTER than the ones that were destroyed in the hurricane, not just the same strength. Let's watch both shows tonight and see where it goes from here.

I am troubled that Glenn Beck: a) confessed to television viewers his detailed fantasy about killing someone (Michael Moore); and b) offered to provide guns for all citizens of New Orleans who tell him they are law-abiding citizens.

Could Beck murder Michael Moore himself, or would he need to hire a hit man? "No, I think I could," he said on May 17, 2005. "I think he could be looking me in the eye, you know, and I could just be choking the life out -- is this wrong?"
