You were the ahead of the curve with this New Yorker captioning thing.
There was a big kerfluffle (kerfuffle?) a short time back with the captions all being replaced with one line, but I already forget what that line is!
I think I would just use Kathy Acker's opening line from her one novel: "I absolutely love to fuck."
If you haven't seen this site which parodies (parodies? perhaps correctly captions is better) Dwell Magazine's creepy photos you might get a kick...
